As a member of Pretty Young Girls (PYG), it is essential to strive for personal growth and embrace the journey of becoming the young woman God has called each member to be. Through our monthly meetings, we provide valuable lessons that foster lifelong learning and character development. Additionally, our various events and activities, such as the Galentine Party, Tea Party Etiquette Class, and Holiday Gala, serve as opportunities to exemplify and celebrate personal growth. These gatherings not only reinforce the principles we teach but also create meaningful experiences that inspire members to flourish in all areas of their lives.
Galentines Brunch
During February, members come together for a Galentine's Brunch, where the spotlight shines on celebrating self-love and mutual appreciation. Attendees relish in a spread of delectable food, groove to music, engage in playful games, and partake in various activities.
Birmingham Civil Rights Tour
PYG and HIPPED Interests collaborated to provide PYG members with a guided tour of the Birmingham Civil Rights Institute, honoring Black History Month. The aim was to immerse participants in exhibits, artifacts, and stories that illuminate the profound history of the civil rights movement and the enduring legacy of African American activists and leaders.
Chirstmas Party
The Christmas party celebration is a time-honored tradition cherished by people around the world. It serves as a festive culmination of the holiday season, bringing together family, friends, and colleagues in joyful revelry.
Tea Party Etiquette Class
Tea Party Annual Etiquette: A special event for women and girls dedicated to refining dining etiquette, enhancing social skills, and building lifelong connections. Participants gained practical knowledge to carry with them in everyday life.
